Wanna be Rich?
Is there any one of us who didn’t want to be rich when we grew up? I remember watching the cartoon DuckTales as a kid and laughing when Scrooge McDuck would go swimming in all his money. I’d think, “Wouldn’t it be nice to have that much money someday?” Of course, I don’t think DuckTales ever told us exactly how much money Scrooge had (and I’m not sure what the exchange rate would be anyway).
That raises an interesting question – how much money do you have to have to be rich?
Think about it for a minute…
What would your annual income have to be in order for you to think of yourself as rich? Don’t start waxing philosophically about being ‘rich in spirit’ or anything like that. Just come up with a number.
What is rich for you? Are you rich?
It’s important to know that because the Scriptures talk a lot about the rich and the poor. And it’s good to know which category we fall in.
And if you really want to have your mind blown, check out the Global Rich List.
So what do you think?

If we had no debt, I think 60k a year would make me feel rich. For me, feeling rich involves being able to buy whatever for those in need, send supplies to Ashley in Africa without batting an eyelash, etc. It would be nice to be able help out whenever there is a need.
